The following snapshots are available for download right now. The files are in standard .tar.gz format, which means any linux system will easily be able to open them as well as any windows system where the appropriate software is installed (try WinRAR).
Installation instructions Firstly, download any of the following files (it's probably best to download the current snapshot). When you have downloaded the file, open up your shell console. If you are using KDE, this is typically available right from the toolbar, or press ALT + F2 and enter konsole in the resulting window. Next, change into the directory in which you stored the snapshot. For example, if you saved the snapshot to your user's local public_html folder, at the prompt, try this:
cd public_html
Now decompress and unpack the snapshot archive. The following command should do the trick:
tar -zxvf snapshot_2005-10-31.tar.gz
This should leave you with a single directory containing the entire CMapp application. Once you've got this far, you are ready to install the application fully. Go over to the Documentation Page to find out how to do this.

The snapshots are of the form snapshot_YYYY-MM-DD.tar.gz where YYYY is the year, MM the month and DD the day of the month.
